1 - Summary

This guide will show you how to set it so text is displayed during the startup
process in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This has been tested in Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 6 x86_64.


2 - Configuration

By default, the startup messages aren't displayed, but rather only a progress
bar is displayed.
# su - root
Password:
# plymouth-set-default-theme details --rebuild-initrd
# shutdown -r now
